Armed Forces Day 2022

In June we hosted Armed Forces Day with the Royal Marines Charity, South West Water and local historians Simon and Carol Fogg.

We highlighted uniforms and paraphernalia from our collection. Simon Fogg brought findings from Dalditch Camp such as shells, bullets and brassware from World War ll. South West Water, whose buildings you can see in the background, talked about water saving measures and the Marines showed us just how much goes into a full rucksack and how fit you would need to be to carry it!
