This afternoon we were delighted to welcome staff from The Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre for a special presentation
Residents and staff have learnt all about the history of Exmouth and were amazed by all of the changes over the years!!Some wonderful memorabilia was on display which sparked lots of reminiscence for everyone. Stories were shared of Grandmothers who owned the somewhat basic appliances and memories of warming the bed at night with the ceramic hot water bottles!! Overall a very enjoyable afternoon! Thank you Exmouth Muesuem, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Visit to Fernihurst Care Home
Our Curator John Wakefield and Pete Hayes our Fundraising Officer made a visit to the Fernihurst Care Home and showed some of the residents a number of items that brought back memories, particularly the residents who have dementia. It was a great success and they really came out of themselves when they recognised certain items. A few images below.
